Any Windows setup past Vista crashes before finishing

Windows 7 and 10 will not finish the setup on this computer, and will crash (usually to a black screen, and automatically reboot) or in other cases where it just freezes the screen. On all other computers the setup runs perfectly.

I've tried numerous flash drives, DVDs, on different file systems and everything under the sun. I have no clue why it's not working.

Any ideas what's going on?

I would suspect a bad hard drive or bad RAM, as the initial triage.

Are you sure that you have enough hard disk space for the installation?

What are the system specs of the system you are having trouble with?

I will swap out the HDD and/or ram, see if that helps. Thanks!

Are you sure that you have enough hard disk space for the installation?

What are the system specs of the system you are having trouble with?

The specs are more than enough to run Windows 7. It's an HP G60 with 320gb of HDD, wiped clean.
