Any word on Nvidia Pascal's (AKA GTX 1000 Series) launch window?

Okay, i'm just trying to get some info here. Last time I checked, Nvidia is planning to release its new GTX 1000 series by Q2 of 2016 yes? Any updates or any additional info that? Please overwhelm me with info, i'm buying a new INSANE rig(been saying that for years its time to spend that monehhhhhhhhh)

All we know is sometime this year. Most speculation would place it sometime between June and October, so there still is a bit of a wait. Unfortunately GPU makers are very tight lipped on when new products launch as they don't want to kill the sales of existing products, so we're not going to really know when it's going to launch until the rumour mill kicks into overdrive with leaked spec sheets and benchmarks, which usually indicates something will be coming within a month or so.

Just a heads up, the 900 series is Maxwell and is already out.

As for Pascal (likely the 1000 series), there are a lot of rumors swirling around about it being released in an April-June time frame. This is far from confirmed, but enough sites have reported hearing this from an "unnamed source" that it's definitely a possibility.

Expect more information to come out at GDC in March and GTC in April.
