Any Word on When ATI 4770s Will Become Available Again?

Seems to be a shortage of this card nowadays. Does anyone know when manufacturers can roll out more units? Also, any online retailers that still claim that they carry this in their stock?

according to Murphy's law then will arrive in the stores the day after you buy your new video card

Don't forget 3 weeks later a cheaper more powerful card will pop out and make you feel like ***.

Considering it's more expensive than a few HD4850 (MSI $30 cheaper) and just as pricey as many of them, it's a tough sell unless you really need low power consumption and heat and don't mind a little less performance in more situations.

get a 4790 when it comes out, it's a cut down 4890 that performs better than the 4870. apparently.

Sigh... getting something a few hours/days/weeks before something more awesome comes out is a fact of life 🙁

I am still waiting for them to release a 1 gig version of this card. Hopefully sometime soon.
