Any Word on Windows 10 free upgrade installation from scratch?

I know that windows 10 is free for windows 7 and windows 8.1, however is there ANY way we will be able to install windows 10 from scratch? I would hate to have to install windows 8, then windows 8.1, THEN windows 10!

Yes, you need to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 and then you can do a fresh install. Yes, it's midly annoying, but it could be worse.

Hmm thats a bit cumbersome but it might work lol.

You can also install windows Technical preview now and keep that forever ( as long as you opt in for beta testing for new updates)

Actually, I doubt you will be able to use windows 10 technical preview forever. Remember the windows 8 technical? Windows 8 technical had until December of the year it launched before it would stop working. Most likely the same thing with 10.

Yea probably. I read in an article that Microsoft confirmed that you can opt in for further beta updates and keep the OS. I can't find it anymore

Won't know for sure until next month since these "confirmations" seem to change on a daily basis.
