Question Anybody know of a good 8 pin female to 4 pin male cpu power adaptor?

I currently have an old hp pavilion motherboard, and I want to upgrade my graphics card. To do that I would have to upgrade from my 150w power supply. I know that this will bottleneck, but this is a temporary solution until I can get a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Does anybody know of a good 8 pin female CPU power to male 4 pin CPU power adaptor? Thanks in advance!

The current PSU is 150w and i am upgrading to a 750 or 850. I need an adaptor to fit that.

Never heard of a 150w unless it was an adapter style PSU source.

No, sorry I wasn't clear at all. I am upgrading to a 750w PSU.

So if I got it right...your new PSU has an 8 pin CPU connector you want to connect to the 4 pin CPU power connector on your motherboard?

If so...just attach one of the 4 pin connectors and leave the other one dangling. You'll be fine like that.
