Anybody know what LCD monitors would also make good HDTV's?

I am looking for a monitor/HDTV in the range of 20-30 inches. I want to be able to use it to play computer games, watch movies, and in the future HDTV broadcasts and probably xbox 360.

Is there a way to get lcd monitors to recieve HDTV broadcasts and is the quality as good as HDTV despite the different native resolutions?

I have seen fairly cheap LCD HDTV's around 30 inches that are 720p, but with that as a computer monitor the resolution seems too low.

The best compromise for TV and Monitor combo starts with LCD monitors 24" + separate TV tuner.

If you're not ready for that, suggest you get separate monitor and LCD TV.
