I have been looking for that same adapter and the one that was named hwshop4u. The hwshop4u seems to be made by syba, but I can't find anyone selling it. Concerning ARP, I have only found similiar adapters:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=12-107-107&depa=0

and

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=12-118-401&depa=0

Since these are a little different, I don't know if they work with cd\dvd drives.

Here's an adapter similiar to the syba one, but it's $30 plus shipping, so I'd go with the cables at newegg.

I was going to use one of them to hook up an internal hardrive, but I didn't want to bother with a pci ide add in card, so I'll probably get which ever will be cheaper to extend the cables.
