im planning on building a custom gaming PC : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/y11F . but i dont know what monitor to get. i want to get a 1080p scree (ive never actually used one). the cheapest one is this. for 100USD it looks pretty good and has built in speaker but i couldn't find many ratings or reviews so im wondering if anyone on this site is a Zalman customer and has anything to say about their product quality or customer service.

Zalman is a reputable company that produces mainly heatsinks and GPU heatsinks. I have a Zalman-cooled GPU and a Zalman water cooler. Both are excellent. However, I never knew Zalman made monitors. It's sort of like a piano made my Toyota.

Well matsu they also make SSD's as well and cases they make quite a few things but honestly they haven't been that stellar company they were when they released the 9500 and the 9700 coolers back in the day of the socket 939.

i think the only difference is not speakers and a lower price
or this one that has speakers but i dont see any reviews on it and it looks a little big

Yea there is no speakers. Also, the quality is pretty good I'm pretty sure with AOC but I'm not sure I know ASUS puts out great panels. Also with ASUS you get there ARR service warranty which essentially in a nutshell means that in the next 3 years if you were to come across an issue they would pay for shipment to them to have it exchanged as at the same time they would send you a brand new monitor. But with all that both I'm sure are great panels I guess its just up to you really what you can afford to purchase and that is what is important getting the best you can get with what money you have to spend.
