Anyone else tested G-Sync and 4K side by side?

I played Warframe, D3 and Crysis 3 side by side with G-Sync (27 inch) and 4K (28 inch) monitors.
For me there was no comparison, 4K monitor at 60Hz was much more immersive and fun than 120 Hz G-Sync monitor.
This was a demo rig, GTX 780 Ti, Asus Rampage V Extreme, etc. But I figure that quality hardware will be within reach in a year or so for most avid gamers.

I haven't tested either G-sync or 4k. I don't really need G-sync considering I have a 144hz monitor and don't get screen tearing as it is. 4k I think looks awesome but is a little over hyped considering it takes a really high end PC to run games at that resolution. Personally I rather have a 3440x1440p monitor.

LOL, "I haven't tried" and still "rather have"......
With 20/20 vision and a 27" or bigger monitor the pixels are visible so there is room for improvement.
My question is for those who have tried both and why they like one over the other.
