I am going to get the AUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570 Plus. But I noticed that the MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming I have now will basically cover the chipset fan or at least partially cover it. So I am bit worried about that and wondering if I should get another board. Though it seems like they will all have the fan in the same place.

But after thinking about it a while they must have tested the board design with various GPU's. But then again companies release products with design flaws all the time.

So has anyone else had any issues with this board and their GPU covering the chipset fan?

Solution
Those types of fans need very minimal clearance to do their jobs, so it should be fine with pretty much any GPU.
That being said, those fans dont really do much other than look cool, so its not a big issue either way.

The fan is barely needed, either way it will still suck in air and do it’s job.
