Anyone familiar with DreamSpark free software?

My college used DreamSpark to give student free software such as Visual Studio 2013 and more.
My question is, can I give software I acquired through Dream spark to a friend?

If you are not familiar, When you get software from dreamspark, such as a copy of Windows 8.1, it gives you the product key and everything. Just like if you bought it.

Could I just get a copy of Windows 10 for my friend and give him the Key, or is it somehow tied to me?

Technically it is only for the owner of the account that "bought" the product, you agreed to not share the licence and product key to anyone else.
