[SOLVED] Anyone had their scanner drivers vanish with the new Win10 update? Canon don't support their 8600f no more and don't seem too interested

Everything was fine a few months ago Silverfast program & Adobe could see the wire connected Canon 8600f . But now come to scan some old negatives and it no longer exists . Windows 10(x64) updated recently so ???
Canon site doesnt provide any alternative suggestions or explanations apart from "we don't sujpport that model any more".

Roll back the updates before they become permanent!!!
If the scanner works, then gotta find a way to save those drivers somewhere.
The latest windows 10 I'm told you can disable driver downloads.
