Hey everyone, this time I am not answering a question, I request assistance on this issue

I've checked the windows log files and found these errors:
1.The IO operation at logical block address 0x800 for Disk 1 (PDO name: \Device\0000005f) failed due to a hardware error.
2.The speed of processor 0 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for 71 seconds since the last report.

Every minute that goes by,Windows event logs show this error with a different block address

Ran crystaldiskinfo and received a "caution" status

Does this mean that recently my hard drive has begun the process of failing? What is the meaning of the second error? Any fixes?

Thanks in advance.

Hey there, Reyaz123.

The diagnostic test says it all. Unfortunately it seems like the drive has accumulated bad sectors. If you don't backup your data regularly - now's the time to make a backup of everything important you're not prepared to lose. I know that you're well aware of the effect of bad sectors - the number will keep rising overtime and eventually the drive will fail completely. Although it's impossible to tell how long would it be before the drive fails completely, I'd recommend that you replace the drive, or at least don't trust it with any important data if you decide to use it until it dies.
You could still test the HDD with another tool if you want to double-check and make sure that the info is credible.

Hope that...
