Im using a m2 Samsung 951 on a z170 and they work really, really well.
But the price have currently reach absurd levels..

NAND flash shortages have pushed prices higher recently. Hopefully this year things will normalize. But, yeah, M.2 NVME is very fast, I want to see how it performs in intel optane.

i'm running a 960 Evo M.2 500Gb in my build. It works well and was easy to install, but there isn't much of a noticeable increase in performance from the 850 Pro I was running before. If budget isn't a huge concern, i'd recommend it. If you're trying to maintain a budget, you can get more for your money elsewhere.
