Anyone here have experience with a Roku?

I recently bought a monitor at an estate for $10, never opened and I have one of those roku boxes that has hdmi and RCA(Red,White,Yellow) and the monitor only has DVI and VGA, so I bought a hdmi to dvi adapter and I get picture but no sound!

What do I need to get picture and sound wroking?

Yes there is a 3.5mm jack and I've tried speakers and headphones but no sound

So the monitor has speakers, and a 3.5mm audio input.
That would seem to suggest an RCA -> 3.5mm adapter cable.
