Title says it all. I'm considering dipping my toe into the market, and I'm looking for a good first set that will give me my money's worth for a few hundred. I like building things, so a kit would actually be preferred ;)

all advice will be appreciated, and if you have any questions about me just ask ;)

I was the same way I was looking at these kits, I believe you can still get them and assemble them yourself. they come with all the parts already.

Now they are basic 3D printers they are nothing like a makerbot printer.

this is a very good option! i have even been able with my Printrbot simple 2014 v3 to surpass some makerbots .1 mm resolution at .08! i would also recommend a Printrbot. just remember to give it time.
