Anyone know of a display driver uninstaller that will autorun?

I updated the display driver on my Sony Vaio, model VPCCW1S1E, and must have missed something of the old display driver. Now there is nothing on the screen - it doesn't even power on. It's had issues with being stuck on a black backlit screen before, but now it's not even powering on. I've tried safe mode and I've tried using an external monitor, neither helped.

Does anyone know of a driver remover that would autorun from a USB stick? And if not, would a clean install of Win7 run from a USB or would I have to change boot options in the bios menu? This would be tricky without a screen!

Thanks for any help.

Display drivers are windows files. They run, and reside in windows. If you turn on your PC and you have no screen or BIOS, it's not related to the drivers. Windows hasn't loaded yet, your BIOS has no care or access to windows.

So either

A) you updated the BIOS of your video card on your laptop and not your drivers, though not a common thing to include BIOS updates in driver packages.
B) Your laptop crapped out at the same time the drivers were installed.

It's like saying you put new seat covers on your car seats and now it won't start. The two are unrelated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I should have mentioned that Windows does load up, I hear the startup jingle and the noise when I shut it back down.

I just figured it was too much of a coincidence for the screen to crap out the moment I updated a display driver.
