anyone know of any good reviews 8700k air cooler vs cheap water aio and high end aio

cant seem to find any good reviews of high performance air coolers such as the Scythe Fuma vs both inexpensive AIO single fan and medium to high end AIO water cooler

'High end' and 'AIO' don't really go hand in hand. Those coolers are not typically considered in that category.

I would stick with Air cooling their no chance of leaking or the pump going out. If the pump goes out your PC is 100% down.
Your not really going to find that specific processor but the difference would be about the same.

simply put, good air cooler will keep CPU at the same or better temperature than any 240 and some 280 AiOs while making much less noise.
most AiOs are made by the same company - asetek https://www.asetek.com/desktop/do-it-yourself/
the only real difference between them is the fans. the rest is "who makes it more shinny" (hint, company of 4 letters makes the perfect Christmas tree toys).

There is zero chance I will ever buy another AIO cooler and If I was going to buy an air cooler this would be the one.

You need a case wide enough to accommodate at least the center mounted fan (case needs to support 168 mm sink/fan height), where the 2nd provided Noctua fan can always be repurposed as a case intake case fan if necessary.
