It's "leather-like" and I can only find genuine leather mousepads online. and I hear genuine leather can be kinda not smooth surface for gaming, can anyone confirm?

this mousepad has a great smooth surface and my mouse specifically doesn't like cloth ones I bought a cloth one and it's really faulty.

this is it https://www.londondrugs.com/certified-data-leather-like-mousepad---mp-pu01/L4593695.html

what material do you think you would call that? also is their any store any of you could reccomend to get a similar one? the only issue I have atm is for fps games I need a bigger mat so maybe 32cm x 27cm instead of the 7x9 cm

let me know if you can help thx

Solution
normal leather have pores, for laser and very high precision optics it can be an issue. usually leather is for people that want style over function. for gaming its not best choice.
check this thing:
SteelSeries QCK Edge XL
Which cloth one did you buy?
i got the corsair mm100, you think that matters?

@Rdslw yea that is why im a bit worried, I want to buy a pure leather mouse cause I know a guy who can make one any size even tho it's expensive like $50 canadian but if it doesn't work that is kinda messed..
