Anyone know what to do?

hello there People of Tom's HARDWARE I am in need of help! My pc is recently bought for about 7 months. playing games my frames arent the best. and whenever i play rust and close it my audio does a big weird sound and then just stops. my audio for discord and other applications won't work.
anyone know whats going on? here are my specs

Frames for games
Rust : 40-80 with huge frame skips
fortnite : 50- 80 small frame skips
also if you play rust takes forty years to load beginning
 
Your performance is going to be severely limited by the very dated architecture of the CPU.
While on the AM4 socket, they utilize Excavator cores, first seem in 20115. Excavator was the 4th essentially "refresh" of the Bulldozer architecture from 2011.

That CPU, paired with an RX560 would explain underwhelming performance. What kind of in-game settings are you using?


As for the audio issue, that's.... interesting to say the least. Potentially driver related.
Try a GPU driver uninstall via DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
And a clean install of the drivers.


As for the launchtimes..... that's pretty common for Rust on an HDD.
 
@barty1884 has a good point, cpu is kind of a bottleneck in your build, rust is a game that can be cpu demanding, so I think that's the problem
 
what would be a great cpu to get then?
if i wanted to replace some things and i use potato graphics
say if i were to replace the cheapest but best way what would you guys recommend?
