If anyone enjoys picking out parts and what not for fun, would be grateful if you can help me figure out a good build for my mom when Black Friday rolls by. I plan on getting her this case - Cooler Master Elite 130.
Trying to keep this around $300~400 tops not including the parts that I already have.

I already have a 550w power supply, R9 270x, and a 120gb SSD. She mostly does flash games and mostly simple stuff really but I already had the power supply, graphics card, and SSD so I may as well just include it in even if it is overkill for what she does on the computer.

What I need at this point is reliable red+green LED fans(she likes Christmas colors) and well just about everything that isn't mentioned above. Meanwhile I'll also be looking for parts, if anyone could throw me some ideas that would be very helpful, thanks in advance!

Looking to future proof at least 5 years but that shouldn't be hard given that she plays mostly flash games and facebook related stuff. If you have a better mini-atx case in mind as well I'd like to read all about it as well!

The lighting kits from NZXT are nice and fairly cheap. The only issue I can see with these kits is that there may not be enough room in that CM case to mount the controls.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestion! Probably just gonna leave the HDD out since I can't imagine seeing her use up the 120gb SSD. Was gonna get her an i5 but good point on the i3 since i5 probably is overkill lol.

Sounds great, appreciate it! Might end up just giving her my 380T case but overall really solid options you drew out for me, it's actually cheaper than the build I had in mind by $80 so that's a plus.
