Anyone running AW9D-MAX with QX6700 & Vista 32 Bit?

Is anyone out there running this combo?

AW9D-MAX
QX6700 Quad Core
Vista Ultimate 32bit

I am trying to get this working, using latest bios (1.3), bios sees the proper CPU, but it wont run Vista, just hangs during loading...


Any Ideas?

I have the 64bit vista with the same motherboard with a e6700 cpu and it works great so far.

Would it be that your cpu runs only 64bit software?

Can 64bit processors run 32bit or just 64bit?

I was going to ask that question in a seperate hread, may as well ask here...

Should be no different than a conroe running 32 or 64-bit. Especially being there isn't much out there for 64-bit yet.

How did you flash the BIOS?
I used the Flashmenu program on Uguru, but it didnt seem to works, as it keeps saying that my BIOS are too old to do an automatic update (like it did before I installed the new BIOS).
Is it better to use a floppy disc and boot from it on the BIOS?

Did it say your bios or the flash program was to old?
I used the the flash program in windows and it worked great.
