Anyone setup Asus Drive Expert

I was thinking about setting up the super speed

from what I read the OS is on a regular SATA port and the other two hard drives is on the spacial SATA ports
how is this increase the transfer rate on the OS

what is the transfer rate, and is it worth setting up
because they said if one of the two hard drive fail you loose all data

I am new to raid or drive expert

what I am trying to do is increase my transfer rate for the hard drive and I don't want to trade my data for more speed

err idk wat drive expert or super speed is....maybe just a pretty name for RAID? idk but theres a whole forum section on RAID arrays...
