Anyone share a computer with roommates?

I'm just curious how common it is in situations when people are living with roommates for there to be a communal computer that everyone uses. Does anyone do this?

Personaly if I was faced with this I would cobble together a cheap computer and say here ya go. Stay off mine. To many lines can be crossed and it always is on who's PC it is.

I wouldn't.

Even 2 decades ago, with my spouse and kids.
Kids had a system, spouse had one, and I had one. And those were people I was related to.

Roommates? Not a chance.

Someone is going to download malware onto it, and then the whole thing is compromised.

Or download something even worse....This is a hard no for roommates.
