PNY is an okay GPU brand, but not the very best. If it is having good after sales service and Warranty in your country, then you can buy this model. They are not that much popular, and there is difference in Build quality as well, but their cards are NOT bad either. They are mostly known for making good reference blower-type cards though.

Its usually a question of quality, IMO. EVGA has the best Nvidia cards around usually, and has the best customer service, plus the amazing "Step Up" program which is really Buyer's Remorse Insurance. Asus / MSI/ Gigabyte all make very solid cards as well.

PNY on the other hand, while not a bad company, doesn't have quite the reputation that the others do. In a sense you're paying the other brands a premium based on the inferred quality of their products. Which is fine, because its usually worth it. PNY has had some rough patches in the past, although lately they seem to be fairly decent. Same with Zotac; they might not have been quite as good a manufacturer but within the last few years peeps have been reporting some extremely good dealings with their customer service department.

Because of that, it all boils down to risk taking. Will you buy cheap and hope for the best? Or spend another $20 and know you're buying from a quality manufacturer? Considering how much of a pain it can be to RMA products, and the fact that you might end up paying $20 shipping and handling, most people just opt for a known brand.

These are some of the reviews for this GPU brand, and even though some might be old, it will give you an idea about the reputation of this brand. Seems good, judging from the reviews. These are different GPU models though, not RTX 2070.
