Anyone using Fx 8350 + R9 390

Hey,

Im planning to build a system with fx 8350 and r9 390 so i just wanted to know about your experience with it?

What fps you get in games like csgo?

YOu would probably get about 100-200 fps, csgo only uses two cores, and the faster they are the better, so the slower but plentiful cores of the 8350 are slightly wasted. Perfectly playable and you will have a great time. If you want to get better framerates, consider going for an intel i5, I have a 2500k and i get between 250-500 heavily overclocked

Considering no screen goes beyond 144 fps (?) That combination of parts is more than enough for competitive play
As for other games they will work very good, the fx 8xxx have very good price/performance, most notably the 8320

There are huge advantages of playing with framerates much higher than that of your monitor, largely frametime
