I wanted to upgrade my Mainboard and wanted to make super sure if the MSI H61M-P31/W8 will run a gtx 10 series ( I ordered a gtx 1060 OC 6 Pin). I know it will fit from installation I just aint sure if the BIOS will recognize the card as my old mainboard rejected to boot with the 1060 (MSI MS 7728 2.0) and just got froze at BIOS Splash Screen. And since the latest BIOS Update for that Mainboard is from 2013 I want to make sure that it will run. I would appreciate someone who is running that mainboard and a 10series gpu to answer this thread. Thank you.
