Question Anyone who knows how DOS works please Help

So my uncle ows an "alignment" machine that it starts when you power up an old pc running DOS... this pc is too old (he bought it from an italian company in 98).. The pc is still working but my uncle wants to upgrade it and the company doesnt not support it anymore.. I thought if i cloned the 2gb hdd i could find a workaround..

Is there a way to make a new pc running windows 10 and with virtualbox or DOSbox run the files?

i would appreciate the help

You could almost certainly clone/duplicate the existing drive into a VirtualBox instance.

The real problem is getting it to talk to tha old hardware, the alignment machine.

Before you start - see how that computer "talks" to that machine. A lot of machines these days used either ISA/PCI expansion boards, or hacking into Parallel port. And you cannot find off-the-shelf motherboard, or computer, having ISA slot, or Parallel port.

So, you have a little bit of digging. If you can post a picture of the back of the computer, some of the old folks here can help.
