Recently installed a new 1T SSD drive into dell E6420 ATG laptop.

here are the numbers i got when i ran the novabench test.

Sandisk recommended i replace the sata cable?

This is the SSD I installed.
Maybe these numbers are ok?

SanDisk SSD PLUS 1TB Internal SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, 2.5"/7mm, Up to 535 MB/s - SDSSDA-1T00-G26

BTW - benchmark results on OS drive will be lower than max possible.
That's because windows is reading/writing to the drive in background all the time.

So - those numbers are completely normal.

Depends on the nature of the test. Can't really say what it was measuring under what conditions.

Something like Crystal Disk Mark is sort of an industry standard.

But still, Up to, not guaranteed for long durations and it would depend on the file size being moved around and all kinds of things.
