Anything else I need? I already have thermal paste.

Paste will come with the CPU so I would not bother replacing it on a non-overclocked CPU with stock cooler.

Memory is better to buy 2x4gb then 1x8gb. Between 10-15% faster speed and compatibility of pairs.

For gaming the wifi card is a bad decision. If you cant hardwire it with etherent then the next best option is using homeplug powerline adapters like the av500 or av600 kit from tplink. Real world speed will be better then a wifi card after a couple of walls are involved, and latency will be MUCH better then wifi, which is more important in gaming then mbps.

Here is best to worst:

1) Hard wired Ethernet
2) Powerline networking adapter
3) Add on wifi card
4) built in wifi
5) Usb adapter.

Usb adapaters are lowest on the list because they have very limited power for antennas and limited space.

I live in an old house and it might not be better because the wires are old.
