Hello guys
Im planning to build a new computer, but i wanted to hear what your guys opinion on this is, I already have samsung 850 evo 250g ssd and some other decent hdds laying around for it.
but here is the list of parts im planning to use:

corsair vengeance pro DDR3 1600 mhz 16 gb
Msi gtx 980 4gb
nzxt noctis 450 (its lovely looking)
MSI Z97A gaming 7
i-7490k
Cooler master v850

Now i know the psu is overkill, but thats more so i dont have to buy another when i want to upgrade, with an extra 980 :p
im also going for a red colour scheme as you may have noticed.
Please tell me your opinion on what I maybe could swap out for a better part :)
Regards Xj

He is saying if you have 4 identical HDD's, use them in raid 10.

Raid 10 is a mix of raid 1 and raid 0. Raid 0 makes two drives appear as one to theoretically double read and write speeds. Raid 1 creates a complete copy of a drive onto another drive saving your information if one fails and theoretically doubles only read speed.

Raid 10 uses both methods. It creates 4 drives into one larger drive. A part of the total drive is stored redundantly over the 4 drives so if one fails, they array will still be recoverable. This is good for speed and safety

Raid doesn't mean you have to have identical models, you don't even have to have the same capacity(Although your raid array will have the size of the smallest drive). From my understanding you have 2 hard-disks,so,if you do not want to use them in a raid array you can simply put them in your pc and use them for storage.
