[SOLVED] Anything wrong with this build?

Hey guys, i'm helping a friend out with building a 1k (USD) gaming desktop.
I wanted to ask for further advise from you guys and see if this is a good/bad build and if I need to make some changes.

Note: I'm not worried about computer peripherals but rather just the build itself.

I have little knowledge about build balance and pricing.
I wonder if this build is fine or if it needed some rework.

Non-overclocking motherboard paired with an overclocking CPU. No CPU cooler listed.

I can't comment on the memory with no model listed. You need DDR4 for this build. With the chosen processor, something like 3000Mhz or 3200Mhz would be appropriate.

The alternative build has less performance overall, most due to the slightly slower GPU. The CPU and GPU are certainly more budget friendly though.

If gaming is the goal, you do want to spend less on the CPU (Intel) and more on the GPU. Something like an i5-8600k/R5-2600 and a RTX 2070 would produce better results.

Just for reference, price, and overseas shipping to Asia.

And sounds like the first build has issues, I'll stick with the alternative build.
Can I switch out the 1660 TI from the alternative build to the RTX 2060 I listed above or will that require me to upgrade the CPU and/or power supply of that alternative build?

They are quite close in performance, so no changes needed to run an RTX2060 vs a GTX 1660Ti.

No reason to if you want the extra options of the RTX card. I am saying you don't need to alter the rest of the system, not that there isn't a benefit to a faster GPU.

You will need a good CPU cooler for the 9700K.
