RU is total trash. I want it banned from my computer. The highest thing of value these people offer on this domain is they legally prostitute their teenagers in their porn and im actually feeling a bit angry and sick when i see that as well so getting that banned is still part of the plan.

How do I block my browsers from ever loading up the virus filled scam sites and their vast pedophile pornograpy industry this country offers the world?

RU is just an example, im supposing once I block them ill have a better time locating and blocking what every other domains make up for the other 30% of scammy trash on the net like wherever the nigerian scammers are located and Ukraine if the massive amount of scums from there trying to access my accts arent using their soviet parents RU address.

This is what the HOSTS file is for
See this:

An entry of 127.0.0.1 *.ru will probably do what you desire.

I could not agree more.

Using a DNS service or app as Ceotase recommended is one way. But if you want to block them right at the door, you might be able to do it with your router's firewall. This depends on your brand and model of router. I have an ASUS RT-N65U. Under the firewall settings, there is a tab for URL filtering. I can add things like "*.ru", "*.click", etc. This allows you to block sites at the entire top level domain (such as RU).

Most newer, and when I say newer, I bought this router in 2013, will have this feature.

Also, as USAFRet suggested, using a HOSTS file from MVPS HOSTS or others will block a lot of the bad sites out there. I prefer MVPS hosts because they update their file regularly and keep it lean. A HOSTS file that gets to large can bog down your system.

Whenever I encounter a site while I am surfing (usually by redirection) that contains objectionable content, I add it to the HOSTS file or to my router. More and more to my router so that it stops any PC on my network from getting there.
