I make adult visual novels as a side gig and have archives of weird porn that I would rather my family and friends not know about if I were to die in a car accident or something haha.

Does anyone know of a way to make it so all my hard drives get formatted if I don't check in for a few weeks or so?

It's not a big deal as I would have bigger concerns if I died and my family would probably forgive me but I do think about it sometimes.

Thanks!

Windows 10 professional allows each account to have a password. If you store your file in your account documents, they cant access them without your password.

Windows standard security wont protect you from authorities however. They have means of cracking and bypassing windows...

Personally think this is an incredible reason to build a super complex Rube Goldberg contraption. My own thoughts would be along the lines of a dog chew bone with a specific breed such that pooch could chew the bone for X number of hours before it releases the next part of the chain....for instance then a cat has to drink a bowl of milk to offset the cage holding the mouse away from a string covered in peanut butter....and such down the line.
I envision it all culminating in a large container of water based lube spilling directly into the computer case. It just seems fitting.

You could probably program something like this fairly easily. A prompt that you have to enter in your password at least once a week or the action of deleting the specific folders is taken.

Probably not something you'd see in an actual commercial product though. Companies don't want to deal with the dumbasses who forget about this program when they go to the beach on vacation for a few weeks.

But while you could code this, just use encryption if it's that big a deal.

That said secrets are the quickest way to destroy a marriage. Im not here to judge. But tread lightly with such things.
