Anyway to transfer windows on to a different drive?

I want to make an ssd the boot drive of my computer, but uninstall windows on my old boot drive without deleting any of the stuff on the old boot drive.Is there any easy way to do this?

Yes. You clone the drive.

You can use Macrium or Aomei cloning apps or other ones. The two I mentioned have free versions.

Basically you are just making an exact copy of the drive.

Here's what I'd do. Keep your current drive as your C drive. Install the SSD (lets say it's the D Drive). Boot to C. Clone to D.

Then boot to D.....and get everything off C that you want. Then format C and use it as a backup drive.
