I bought the wrong MoBo and need bios update to even work. I have os usbs ready but nothing can work now.

I found a way to make os usb with a phone as long as you have the app and the item that connects usb with phone.

There must be a way to do the same for bios update with a phone while having only a new pc with no bios, not turning on at all.

Like asus app and connect with pc. How easy. At least a way to make usb with phone. The windows seems like iso method while bios is like extract then run exe to change name of a certain file then move that file to usb then connect to pc to update.
but I'm not sure if phone can extract and run exe and copy downloaded file to usb.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

If you have the wrong motherboard, then there's no point in trying to update the BIOS, based off of what you're saying in your thread's body. The simple answer I'd say is no, you will need a donor system, an USB drive that is FAT32 formatted and the BIOS file placed on root of your USB drive, perhaps even renamed depending on what the instructions for BIOS updates are for your particular motherboard.

Just an FYI, if your thread is the same as your others, I will need to close it and merge with the rest to stop people from ending up with spaghetti brains.

lol this is a separate topic.
I know forum rules say if it's a continuing story you have to keep on same post. but it's a separate topic. It's not like I'm gonna have 1 post until my entire build is complete.

I know there are rules but you don't always need to tell every single details because sometimes people don't want to tell all components they have.
I know it can help but not always.
and also know people are trying to help but it's not like people have to. people can skip if you don't want to answer and skip to the next answer if people hate that I did'nt write the model for keyboard , mouse, monitor, headphones, usb, external drives, pc desk, which led lights and the list goes on...

I guess being a mod sucks.
