AOC 24'' L24H898 Problems?

Hey guys,
I just finished my PC build but am having problems with the monitor that I was planning on using and havent been able to sort out the problem. For some reason, the visuals through this TV/Monitor are just off, they are either blurry or just weird. The monitor is said to support 1080 at 60hz but the text is blurry and I have troubles being able to fix it. I was wondering if you guys had any solutions for me. ClearText is enabled, the native resolution is 1920x1080, and the refresh rate is set at 60hz. The drivers on my MSI 760 are updated and connected to the monitor via HDMI. The screen has no problem with visuals when connected to my xbox via component, but is much different when using an HDMI to my PC.

If it helps at all, all the thumbnails on YouTube look like cartoons until you actually click on the videos. I have tried adjusting the sharpness and messing with all the settings and I am never able to get the picture to look right at all. I am wondering if I should just use this monitor as a second monitor, and ordering a new one and using that for gaming. Any monitors you could recommend? 24" preferably?
