Question AOC 27G2U Problem

Hey guys, today I got my new AOC 27G2U monitor and after turning it on I noticed a thin blue line on the left side of the screen that was only visible on black backgrounds. I was getting ready to accept it when suddenly I started seeing these white fuzzy dots around the time and icons, then I turned on 144Hz and boy oh boy did the screen get super messed up (attached a pic). I tried updating the drivers and installing the display drivers for the monitor, nothing helped. On 60Hz I get white dots flickering around white objects and on 144Hz the image gets distorted like on the picture. It does it in the BIOS and I even tried connecting a Nintendo Switch to it and it was still doing it. Is the monitor damaged? Thanks!
