Question Aoc G2460PQU 144hz working only at 100hz

I bought this monitor like a month ago and when I finally got a DisplayPort v1.2 cable, it only let me to set it at 100hz.
I try to overclock the monitor with the nvidia panel little by little and when i reached 116hz, the monitor start to looks weird and start flickling, so I undo it.
So I got a better displayport because the one I got kinda looks fake, so I order this other that it is v1.4 but the problem remains.
I don't know what to do or if I haven't done something or if I need to change it or what. Help!!

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700x
GPU: Asus Dual 1060 OC

Well yes, the hdmi that in comes with the monitor that in suppose to reach 120hz bu it only shows 60hz

Since you mentioned "Finally got a display port cable", did you try the old cable if it was outputting the correct 144hz? Was it always below 144hz?
