I'm gonna be building my first PC soon, and I've been looking at 2 likely candidates for monitors, the BenQ GW2760HS and the AOC i2367Fh.
Here are the links:
AOC: http://www.amazon.com/AOC-i2367Fh-23-Inch-Frameless-LED-Lit/dp/B009V8F700

BenQ: http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-GW2760HS-27-inch-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B00ITORMDC/ref=pd_sim_147_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=01PKMX52CE19RS35ADFR

I will be using these like 60% for schoolwork and 40% for gaming. I play games like League of Legends, War Thunder, and CS GO, and I will definitely be getting Star Wars Battlefront and Overwatch when they come out. I've also looked at the ASUS VG248QE. I'm looking for something that preforms well, and looks good, hence the IPS display AOC monitor being a strong option
What should I buy and are there any others that I should look at?

Build quality is BenQ, for the IPS panel go with AOC. really depends on what you want. But 23 inches is kinda meh, compared to 27.

I honestly don't know how much of a difference that IPS panel makes, I've just heard that it's good.

I've also seen the ASUS VS238H-P monitor, which is also IPS. I would say my budget for monitors is probably like 250 USD and below. The 27 inch vs the 23-24 inch display isn't really bothering me that much because I'm used to both and want to upgrade to a dual monitor setup when I have the money.
