AOC monitor has no sound!

AOC monitor; q81a3ha207452, no sound AT ALL! Says; "Speaker unplugged"! How can I "plug it in"? I have downloaded suggested driver, et al, but nothing works! My tower is HP, I'm using 8.1 and it was bought new last year. How can I get sound?

How are connecting your PC to the AOC monitor? VGA, DVI, HDMI?
