Question AOC monitor having dead pixel type behavior only when displaying darker shades ?

Hello all,
I have this peculiar problem in my AOC VA monitor, i am unable to find answers.. When the scene in video is gray (or anything closer to black) i have a small band of black in the bottom of my screen.

Basically, my monitor in that zone can display full bright shades but not darker shades, so it will just turn black.

I can move my mouse over that black zone and white cursor will be visible.. Can someone tell what the problem is.
