AOC Monitor Setting Issue

Hello,

I bought an AOC Monitor for my Xbox 360 as i wanted better graphics (i was using an old tv beforehand) I got the adapter and it worked perfectly for some time, 4 months later I can no longer use the monitor due to this issue. It has the settings DVI & D-SUB, my Xbox uses the D-SUB however it wont switch off of DVI, i've sat in my room for extended periods of time switching it from DVI to D-SUB only for it to not switch and stay on DVI, even after several shutdowns i still experience the same issue.

I was unable to find the original packaging for it, i have no idea what the warranty on it was.

3 years, while i'm working with AOC, anybody possibly know a temporary fix for this?

try the monitor on a computer even a friend's using it in vga mode to see if still shows dvi message. what is this adapter you are using?

its an HDMI to VGA

The HDMI hooks into the back of my xbox and the vga goes to the D-SUB cable that hooks into the monitor (d-sub/ dvi are the selections in the menu)

did you try the monitor on a computer that has vga on it to see if that dvi menu still shows or not?
