AOC monitor turned off

Today when i woke up my monitor and computer were working properly and then i accidentaly touched cord of my monitor and it just turned off.. now i cant turn it on, led power light is not being on.. what happened? did my monitor die? i have AOC 2250SWDA LCD 22" WLED, 250 cd , DVI that is what is written on my bill ( i dont know anything about monitors) monitor is bought on 22 3 2012.. please help me fast. Thanks

First make sure the monitor's power cable is pushed firmly into the monitor's power socket.
If no change, fuse may have blown in the plug at the other end so replace the fuse.

If still no change, buy a new power cable. make sure it has the same connector as the existing one.
If new cable makes no difference, the monitor itself must be faulty.

Thanks i will try all of this in this in tuesday when shops start working, i will tell you if it worked.
