if u have a calibration sensor/software (or know someone that does), the benq would be my first choice.
can you get anything from asus?
i virtually had almost every brand out there (aoc/acer/lg/iiyama/samsung/viewsonic) but have yet to see a brand other than benq, that gets close to asus when it comes to same price range. but benq focuses on IQ/accuracy, not gaming, for most their displays.
most asus monis tend to be good on panel/color while still allow for good gaming (response/input lag/refresh rate).
I don't know enough about those two monitors to offer an opinion other than avoiding AoC in general. If I had $240 to spend, the choice would be the Asus VG248QE or the BenQ with the same panel (BenQ XL2411Z ?).
Demand being what it is this time of year, prices are a bit elevated.
if the only options are benq and aoc, i would buy aoc bucause i had used it in the past and liked the product but as you see not everybody likes the brand
benq is normally the better brand when it comes to panel/color etc., not saying that aoc is bad.
without knowing what hardware is running on it and what your going to do with it, makes it hard to recommend one over the other.
its like asking if a porsche or a pickup truck is the better choice, without knowing if your a 30y old single, or a farmer...
Fry i voted you down by mistake i wanted to vete you up.
Thank you all for your time and Fry178 i will use the monitor for graphic design but also for gaming sometimes so i want a reasonable monitor for both of them
Thank you
