AOE II Scrolling game map

Once I get into the game the map scrolls up to the left, disallowing me the
privilege of playing the game. Very frustrating.

Your mouse is either dirty or worn out.

In that case I suspect the software controlling you mouse is installed
incorrectly? Unfortunately I don't know how to correct that.

That could be the case, but it only effects this game and nothing else, plus
it was factory installed, go figure there. Oh well, thanks again.

this is some sort of bug, I remember this gets asked on various places from
time to time, but I can't remember the answer, sorry.
