It's good to know that the 3.3 kbps typical speed I used to get on the ol' dial-up was considered broadband. It felt so amazing being able to view half-an-image once every hour.

I just checked and you can still get 10 free hours of dial up a month with NetZero.
That's what I used to use because no way was I going to pay AOL's prices. But it was pretty bad with most of the bandwidth going to ads.

Could make a great punishment for kids though.
