I just got this software based on recommendations.
It has serious English issues. Very confusing.

Upon setting up the "Disk Space Managment Scheme" I got to this (see pic):
http://www.backup-utility.com/articles/images/manage-backup-disk-space/task.gif

I want to know what the second option does exactly. "The previous N versions of obsolete backup image file...." If I set it to 3 & have it set to back up daily...start backing up on Monday...then Tuesday...then Wednesday...then on Thursday will it delete Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & start all over?

*BTW, the first option ("The program will automatically delete...") doesnt work like you think it would. Deleting backups beyond the set time & keeping only the recent backups....NOOOOPE, it waits to the set time and then deletes all backups & starts the backup process over 🙁

Also, can anyone elaborate on the check box at the bottom?
For example: Ive got the first option set ("The program will automatically delete...") to 2 weeks. So if I have that check box ticked does this mean that in 2 weeks the program will delete all my backups and start over but keep my original backup...from which it will build upon?
I would rather it started a fresh backup.....should I uncheck that box?

I posted them both as separate questions. If you notice in the first post im trying to also understand the program and get alternate suggestions for OS drive backup. You started asking about AOMEI in the other post and this is related in that it illustrates some confusion.
No bother, Im trying Casper now...because AOMEI is to vague and has bad English....

OK. Understood. It's just that I was a bit confused by what appeared to me somewhat contradictory input. But I now better understand your situation.

I'm glad to hear that you're now trying Casper. I assume it's the trial edition you're planning to use. I have some comments about the program that may be of interest to you but I'll make that response to your last message in the "Windows7 SSD backup suggestions" post to avoid confusion.

I look forward to those comments :)

bad English, because it made in China... 🙁 , and you can't get any Telephony Support when you need, BTW, can you pronounce the name "AOMEI" ??? This is also my headache
