AOpen DVD1640Pro or Pioneer DVD105SZ ?

Choose the AOpen DVD1640Pro or Pioneer DVD105SZ? or are they the same? i read that they can use the same firmware upgrade to make it region free. But the Aopen should perform better?

Any experiences?

The difference between AOpen dvd roms and Pioneer dvd roms is the drive facia my AAOpen drive is anonymous but registers as Pioneer in my computer.Just pick your speed and see which is cheaper.
