I'm eyeing a refurb'ed one of these on newegg.com. For $75 bucks, it seems
like a sweet deal, but my Bro had a ti 4200 or something (not sure which
brand) and it overheated and died (doesn't help we live in Arizona).
Anyone know if this card's got the same problem? There's a Gainward on the
site too for about the same money. I'd hate to blow $75 bucks and have a
dead card in a few months. TIA.

Maybe your Bro had bad air-flow in his case, and his fan broke down on a day
when the temperature was 45c. If you're worried about a re-furbished fan
breaking down, how about getting one of these: http://snipurl.com/638y
